Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various projects. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in electrical work to contribute to diverse and challenging assignments, ensuring safety and compliance at all times. Candidates should possess practical experience with hand tools, power tools, and a solid understanding of electrical systems. Responsibilities

Install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in accordance with safety standards and regulations.
Diagnose electrical faults using appropriate tools and techniques, then execute repairs efficiently.
Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams to complete installations accurately.
Use hand tools and power tools safely to perform installation and repair tasks.
Conduct routine inspections of electrical equipment to identify potential issues before they result in failure or hazards.
Collaborate with other tradespeople and project managers to ensure timely completion of projects.
Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and inspection reports.
Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations, including risk assessments and safe working practices.

18th Edition
NQV Level 3
Testing and Inspecting

Qualifications

Proven experience as an Electrician or similar role within the electrical trade.
Proficiency in using hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, wire strippers, as well as power tools like drills and saws.
Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and safety procedures.
Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams effectively.
Relevant qualifications or certifications in electrical installation or maintenance are preferred.
Good organisational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in diverse environments.
Valid UK driving licence is desirable but not essential. This position offers a rewarding career path for motivated individuals eager to apply their expertise in a dynamic setting while ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality in every project undertaken.
