Following a period of significant growth, we are expanding our technical team. We are seeking a Technical Product Advisor to join us at our state-of-the-art facility on Eden Business Park. The Role
Acting as the vital technical link between our vast product catalog and our commercial clients, you will handle inquiries, solve problems, and provide expert advice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Consultation: Answer incoming inquiries from B2B clients, identifying the correct components, fluid transfer parts, or spare parts required for their specific machinery.
- Customer Support: Provide exceptional customer service by processing orders, offering product alternatives, and delivering clear technical guidance.
- Problem Solving: Diagnose product-matching issues and offer proactive solutions to ensure client operations run smoothly.
- System Accuracy: Utilize our internal IT systems to check stock levels, verify parts dimensions, and log client communication accurately.
- Team Collaboration: Work alongside our warehouse and logistics teams to ensure specialist technical orders are prioritized and dispatched correctly.
Requirements
- Background: Proven experience working within an engineering, plumbing, mechanical, or agricultural supply chain environment. (Whether you are a hands-on tradesperson looking to step off the tools, or an experienced parts/stores coordinator, we want to hear from you).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a confident, helpful telephone manner.
- IT Literacy: A good level of IT competency to navigate digital parts catalogs and internal databases smoothly.
- Attributes: A proactive, self-motivated attitude with a genuine curiosity for technical components and how they function.
- Logistics: Reliable daily commuting access to our facility at Eden Business Park, Penrith.
