Clark Door designs, manufactures and installs specialist door systems for some of the most prestigious organisations across the world. From acoustic and fire rated doors to high security, temperature controlled and nuclear applications, our products protect people, assets and operations in some of the most complex environments on the planet.
We are now looking for Joiners to join our production team at our Carlisle facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate woodworking equipment including table saws, cross-cut saws, spindle moulders, planer/thicknessers, and chain-mortisers (training will be provided if you do not have experience with specific equipment).
- Use hand and power tools for drilling, tapping, grinding, and routering.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings
- Mark out and assemble components using jigs and templates.
- Carry out quality checks and make adjustments to meet specification and finish standards.
- Maintain equipment and a clean, safe working environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues across departments to meet production targets.
About You
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Carpentry and Joinery (or equivalent qualification) is desirable.
- Hands-on experience in a joinery or manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in operating woodworking machinery and hand tools.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to problem-solve and work to tight tolerances.
- Reliable, adaptable, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Willing to support other departments based on business needs.
