We are now looking for a Material Handler to join our Production team at our Carlisle factory.
Overall Job Purpose
· Offloading and loading delivery wagons.
· Receiving deliveries and checking goods in.
· Transporting materials to different areas of the factory.
· Restocking stores
· Collecting goods from suppliers, locally and nationally
· Making up and packing production and installation kits
· Maintaining stock levels
· Performing stocktakes
· Using manual handling equipment safely
· Operating a forklift
Skills and Experience:
- Driving Licence (Essential)
- Fork Lift Truck Licence (Essential)
- Previous materials handling or warehousing experience would be an advantage
- Previous experience of operating a forklift truck
- Keen eye for detail and accuracy
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills
