The position is 8am to 3pm or 3pm to 10pm on a rota system. We cannot accommodate 20 hour contracts.

Job Title: Care Assistant

Location: Inglewood Care Home, 139 Dalston Road, Carlisle,

Salary: £14.64 per hour

We are currently seeking a caring and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Inglewood Care Home in Carlisle. As a Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting residents with personal care such as washing, dressing, and toileting
Supporting residents with mobility and transferring
Monitoring and administering medication
Engaging in activities with residents to promote socialization and mental stimulation
Maintaining accurate records and updating care plans

Requirements:

Previous experience in a care or healthcare setting is desirable but not essential
NVQ level 2 or equivalent in Health and Social Care is desirable but not essential
Compassionate and caring nature
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication skills
Flexibility to work shift patterns
