We're looking for a committed and skilled Water Technician to support the delivery of safe water services across the site. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to essential compliance, protect building users, and help maintain the smooth running of critical systems every day.
What You'll Be Doing
- Monitor, treat, and maintain water systems to ensure safety, compliance, and environmental standards are met.
- Test water quality through sampling, chemical testing, and analysis for purification.
- Maintain systems such as TMVs and storage tanks.
- Identify contamination risks — including Legionella — and take proactive steps to resolve issues.
- Perform maintenance on water treatment equipment, networks, and sewerage systems.
- Support compliance processes and contribute to detailed reporting for audits across quality, health & safety, and environmental standards.
We're seeking a technically capable and proactive individual with:
- Experience working with water systems, water treatment processes, or building services.
- Strong understanding of compliance requirements such as L8 and water safety standards.
- A methodical and solutions‑focused approach to problem‑solving.
- Great communication skills and confidence working with internal teams and external contractors.
- The ability to work efficiently, manage workload, and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Customer‑focused with a professional, “can‑do” attitude.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards.
- Ability to prioritise tasks effectively and remain calm under pressure.
- Keen to promote safe systems of work and uphold QHSE best practice.
- Experience in water hygiene, water treatment, or a similar technical environment.
- Knowledge of water system maintenance, compliance, and safe operating procedures.
- Previous experience in a technical, estates, or facilities role is highly desirable.
