Salary: £13.06 per hour. Additional rates apply.
Hours: Average of 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday.
Shifts: Rotational shift pattern. Early shift 06:00am – 02:30pm, Late shift 01:00pm – 09:00pm. Includes some Saturdays.

Due to the investment in a new facility we’re looking for professional and experienced Prep Painters to work as part of our Bodyshop Team in our fabrication workshop and paint shop facilities at Carlisle Airport.
Duties of the role will include, assisting the Bodyshop in the car transporter refurbishment programme, prepping the vehicles for paint and shotblasting wheels ready for paint. Maintaining our current fleet of car transporters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out preparation work including sanding, masking, priming and filler work
- Prepping vehicles for paint in line with high-quality standards
- Ensuring correct use of materials and tools
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Supporting the paint process to deliver vehicles on time and to standard
- In addition to the responsibilities outlined above, you will be expected to assist with other duties as required to support the smooth running of operations.

The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience in vehicle preparation/paintwork
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
- Ability to work efficiently and as part of a team
- Experience in a bodyshop environment
- Full UK Driving Licence
