We are looking for a proactive and detail focused Finance Officer to become a key member of our team. This is more of a transactional role finance role - You will be at the heart of the business, providing valuable financial support, maintaining robust controls, and helping drive informed decision making.
What you will be doing
- Processing invoices, payments, and bank reconciliations
- Assisting with monthly management accounts and financial reporting.
- Monitoring budgets and expenditure.
- Assist with payroll and month - end processes.
- Support the organisation’s financial planning and strategy development.
- Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Excellent organisational skills with high attention to detail.
- Proficiency in relevant accounting software Xero.
- Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes and efficiencies.
What we are looking for
*You will have 3 years proven experience in a finance, accounts or book keeping role.
*Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical skills.
*Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
*Professional, trustworthy and a highly organised approach.
*AAT Qualification or equivalent experience is essential.
*The job role will involve working alone
