Full job description

Are you passionate about creating a clean and welcoming environment? Do you have an eye for detail and a knack for organisation?

Rose Castle is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Housekeeper to join their team. The team consists of a Head Housekeeper and three Housekeepers, for those that are new to housekeeping an in-house training scheme is offered.

Examples of duties as a Housekeeper at Rose Castle:

Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to Rose Castle's standards.
Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient and effective housekeeping operations.
Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing guests' requests and needs.
A variety of cleaning activities such as; sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing, bedroom changeovers, restocking bedroom amenities and maintaining cleanliness and tidiness of all areas within the estate.
Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting any shortages to management.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations to create a safe environment for both guests and staff.

What we are looking for:

Individuals who take pride in their work and have a passion for attention to detail.
Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures and techniques.
Capability to prioritise tasks effectively.
A keen eye for cleanliness.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required (hours may vary depending on events).

Points to note:

Casual or Part-time contract basis with rate of pay depending on experience including pro-rata holiday allowance.
Hours vary each week and potentially can be adapted to nursery/school hours. Shifts can change with short notice.
Able to commute to Rose Castle, Dalston as public transport is not viable due to the rural location.
Free parking on-site.
Uniform and refreshment station provided.
