Clark Door designs, manufactures and installs specialist door systems for some of the most prestigious organisations across the world. From acoustic and fire rated doors to high security, temperature controlled and nuclear applications, our products protect people, assets and operations in some of the most complex environments on the planet.
We are now looking for Welder Fabricators to join our production team at our Carlisle facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out MIG/TIG welding to manufacture products.
- Cutting materials into the required shapes, checking dimensions and thicknesses.
- Welding or joining metal and other materials into a range of structures.
- Ability to read, interpret and follow engineering plans, drawings and instructions.
- Reworking and/or repairing welded parts and products according to engineering specification changes.
- Operating a wide range of tools, machinery and welding equipment.
- Inspecting and testing welds with precision measuring instruments.
- General engineering activity including drilling, tapping, mechanical assembly and dismantling.
- Cleaning tools, equipment and work areas.
- Carrying out all work wearing appropriate safety clothing and using any protective equipment required.
