Care Assistant (Full-Time & Part-Time)
Location: Howard Court Care Home, Brampton
Position: Care Assistant
Salary: £13.00 – £14.00 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications)
Contract Type: Full-Time and Part-Time Positions Available
Shift Pattern: Days, Weekends, and Bank Holidays on a rota basis

We are currently seeking compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Care Assistants to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about caring for others and making a positive difference every day.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
As a Care Assistant, you will be responsible for:
- Providing high-quality personal care and support to residents.
- Assisting residents with washing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
- Supporting residents with eating and drinking where required.
- Promoting independence, dignity, privacy, and choice at all times.
- Building positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
- Monitoring residents' wellbeing and reporting any concerns to senior staff.
- Assisting with activities and encouraging social engagement.
- Maintaining accurate records and completing required documentation.
- Supporting residents with emotional and social needs.
- Ensuring care plans are followed and residents' needs are met.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
- Adhering to safeguarding, infection control, health and safety, and company policies.
- Working effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Satisfactory enhanced DBS check and references.
Desirable Requirements
The following would be advantageous but not essential:
- Previous experience working in a residential care home, nursing home, domiciliary care, or healthcare setting.
- NVQ/QCF Level 2 or Level 3 in Health and Social Care preferred
- Medication administration training.
- Dementia care experience.
- Moving and handling training.
- First Aid training.
