Full job description

Since 1966 Peter Tyson have been selling Audio, Visual and appliances. Our mission is to be the leading customer destination for consumer electronics. An exciting opportunity has become available to join our Warehouse Team at Peter Tyson.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Picking customer orders from order sheets, labelling and checking against manifests.
Occasional collection and moving of stock to and from local warehousing units.

Hours:

Monday to Friday 8.00am to 4.00pm (some overtime and weekend work required).

Bonus :

Performance related bonus after probation period.

Health and safety:

Be responsible as far as is reasonably practicable for your own health and safety, and the health, safety and welfare of other people.
Compliance with the company’s health and safety statement.

Experience and Education:

2 years of warehouse experience preferred.
2 years of logistics preferred.
Forklift licence preferred but training can be provided.
Experienced in undertaking a range of duties but training will be given.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Good IT and numerical skills.

Skills and Abilities:

To have a strong work ethic, attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment, picking and packing of orders.
Ability to work well under pressure, take direction and to accurately follow instructions.
Ability to work in a team and under own initiative.
A flexible, friendly approach with a team focus and can-do attitude.
