TRAINEE BUS DRIVERS WANTED
Are you passionate about driving and providing excellent customer service? Do you want to join a well-established, family-run business with a strong reputation in the community? Richards Bros is looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team as a Trainee Bus Driver
No experience? No problem! We provide full training to help you obtain your PCV (Passenger Carrying Vehicle) license and become a confident, skilled bus driver.

The Role:
As a Trainee Bus Driver, you will:
- Undergo comprehensive training to obtain your PCV license.
- Safely operating buses, following all traffic law and regulations.
- Providing excellent customer service to our passengers
- Assisting passengers with boarding, seating and any special needs.
- Conducting daily walkaround checks on your allocated vehicle.
- Maintaining a clean and well-kept bus interior.
- Learning & following established routes & schedules.
- Handling fares and providing accurate change
- Reporting any accidents, incidents or maintenance issues.
- Follow all company policies and road safety regulations.
What We’re Looking For:
- A full UK driving license (held for at least 1 year).
- A friendly, approachable attitude and excellent communication skills.
- A commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Be able to pass a PCV medical test

- Fully funded PCV training and support throughout your career. Subject to 2 year training commitment contract - should you wish to leave during the 2 year period you will be liable to pay back your training fees in full.

Hourly rate:
- Whilst Training - £12.71
- After full training - Monday to Friday - £14.00
- Weekends - £15.00
- Enhanced pay rate on Sundays for local service routes
