We would be looking to recruit a solicitor to work cross the areas of child protection, adult social care and education according to need. Experience in those areas in Wales would be an advantage. You will be responsible for providing high quality legal advice to the Council and assisting with complex cases. Your day-to-day work may include drafting legal documents, representing the Council in court proceedings, and working collaboratively with colleagues across various departments.
We value adaptability in our team, so you will also have the opportunity to advise on other areas of law as this role offers exposure to a diverse range of legal matters and the chance to develop expertise in new areas. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to manage a varied workload efficiently.
