Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organised, proactive, and commercially aware Office Manager to support senior management in establishing and developing Nuts Land’s UK branch and operations. This is a pivotal role that goes beyond traditional office management. The successful candidate will play a key part in setting up the business infrastructure in the UK, including legal, financial, and operational frameworks, while ensuring smooth day-to-day coordination across all activities. You will act as a central point of communication, working closely with senior leadership, external advisers, and internal teams to build an efficient and scalable operation.
Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Setup & Operations
- Support senior management in establishing the UK entity, including coordination with legal, financial, and regulatory advisors
- Assist with company registration, compliance requirements, and operational setup
- Identify and coordinate the sourcing of suitable office and warehouse premises
- Help implement operational processes, systems, and workflows from the ground up
Financial & Administrative Management
- Maintain accurate financial records
- Assist with budgeting, expense tracking, invoicing, and financial reporting
- Liaise with accountants, auditors, and financial institutions
- Support cash flow monitoring and financial planning activities
Human Resources & Team Building
- Lead recruitment processes including job postings, screening, and onboarding
- Support the hiring and setup of the UK team (sales, admin, operations, drivers, etc.)
- Develop HR policies, contracts, and employee procedures in line with UK regulations
Office & Workflow Management
- Oversee daily administrative operations (both remote and office-based)
- Coordinate schedules, meetings, and communications across teams and stakeholders
- Implement efficient systems for documentation, reporting, and communication
- Ensure smooth coordination between departments and external partners
Communication & Stakeholder Management
- Act as a key point of contact between senior management and UK operations
- Support business development activities through coordination and follow-ups
- Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
Experience & Skills Required
- Proven experience in office management, operations, or business support roles
- Experience supporting business setup, expansion, or new market entry is highly desirable
- Understanding of UK business, legal, and compliance processes
- Experience in at least one accounting software
- Experience in HR functions including recruitment and onboarding
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with a professional approach
- Ability to work independently in a hybrid (home/office) environment
- High attention to detail with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
