Job Description

We’re seeking experienced Self-Employed Lead Driver to join our Edinburgh team delivering in Edinburgh on a full-time, permanent basis. As a lead driver, you’ll oversee a team of couriers managing the day to day operations, planning and fleet. Your team plays a key role in delivering consignments for major clients. This role offers progression to Management positions for high-performing candidates, providing a clear career path within our growing company.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely, efficiently and compliantly complete multi-drop parcel deliveries across Edinburgh
Handle daily workload of 110 Stops
Lead by example, maintaining high standards of professionalism and customer service.
Support the training and onboarding of new drivers as the team grows.
Planning and co-ordination of your team on a daily basis
Liaison with our client
Fleet movements, condition and maintenance checks
Rota management

Requirements:

Full UK driving licence (held for at least 2 years, with fewer than 6 penalty points and no serious Endorsements).
Aged 25+ for insurance purposes
Proven experience as a multi-drop delivery driver, in contracts such as Amazon/Evri/DPD/DHL etc.
Strong communication and Reporting skills
Vehicle can be supplied at a competitive rate, with no upfront costs
Comfortable with Delivery devices or a smartphone for delivery apps and route planning.
Right to work in the UK (verified per the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006).

Schedule:

5-6 days working on rota Monday to Sunday

Pickup location Newbridge (specific depot details provided upon application).
