Overview

Join our friendly, privately owned Dental Practice located at 25 Main Street, Broughshane, as a Dental Receptionist/Dental Nurse, where your enthusiasm and professionalism will help create a welcoming environment for our patients. In this multifaceted role, you will be the first point of contact, managing patient appointments, providing exceptional patient care, and supporting clinical operations. Your proactive approach and excellent communication skills will ensure smooth daily workflows and positive patient experiences. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in both administrative and the clinical aspects of dental care.

Duties

Greet patients warmly, confirm appointments, and manage scheduling to optimise patient flow.
Assist dentist during procedures by preparing instruments, lab work, patient records and ensuring patient comfort
Provide high-quality patient care, including explaining treatments and post-care instructions
Maintain accurate patient records ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulations
Manage incoming calls, answer inquiries professionally, and coordinate appointment bookings
Support infection control protocols by sterilizing equipment and maintaining a clean clinical environment
Communicate effectively with patients and team members to ensure seamless service delivery

Requirements

Experience within Dental Nursing and GDC registration is preferred, but a trainee willing to work towards their Dental Nursing qualification would be considered. Four GCSE’s including Maths and English are essential to enrol on the Dental Nursing Course.
Outstanding organisation and the ability, to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while maintaining attention to detail
