Role overview
We are seeking a creative, technically skilled and highly organised Digital Learning & AI Content Specialist to support the creation, improvement and standardisation of high-quality internal digital learning content.
This is an intensive 1-month contractor project for someone who can work quickly, independently and to a high professional standard. There may be potential for the contract to be extended based on project progress, quality of delivery and ongoing organisational requirements.
The successful contractor will work with internal materials and utilise modern digital and AI-assisted tools to make staff learning clearer, more engaging and easier to deliver.

- Rate: £250–£350 per day (depending on experience and portfolio)
- Extension Opportunity: Potential contract extension for the right candidate

About the Role
You will support the development and improvement of internal digital learning content, helping to transform existing materials into engaging, accessible and consistent learning resources.
This role would suit someone with experience in digital content creation, learning and development, internal communications, training support, multimedia production or AI-assisted content development.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and improve internal digital learning materials
- Develop short, engaging and staff-friendly learning content
- Use AI-assisted tools to improve content production efficiency and consistency
- Convert written information into clear and accessible learning resources
- Create repeatable templates and content frameworks
- Standardise and improve existing training materials
- Support the production of video-based learning content
- Produce scripts, outlines, summaries and supporting materials
- Create visual assets, presentations and supporting design materials
- Organise learning content within Microsoft 365 and SharePoint
- Develop knowledge checks, quizzes and learner engagement activities
- Work closely with management to ensure content accuracy and alignment with organisational standards
- Maintain strict confidentiality when handling internal information and documents
Essential Skills & Experience
Applicants should demonstrate strong experience in some or all of the following:
- Digital content creation
- Video-based learning or training content
- AI-assisted content production
- Scriptwriting and content structuring
- Video editing and production
- Short-form educational or training content
- PowerPoint, Canva or similar design tools
- Microsoft 365 and/or SharePoint
- Excellent written English and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Experience handling confidential information appropriately
Desirable Experience
Experience in any of the following would be advantageous:
- AI-generated video, voiceover or explainer content
- Screen-recorded training and guidance materials
- Tools such as Synthesia, HeyGen, Canva, Descript, CapCut, Loom, Camtasia, VEED, Articulate, Rise and PowerPoint
- E-learning development
- Microlearning and bite-sized learning content
- Microsoft 365 and SharePoint content management
- Compliance, regulatory or sensitive-sector training materials
- Health and social care, education, HR, safeguarding or onboarding environments
- Knowledge checks, assessments and learning pathways
- Building branded learning templates and content libraries
