Full job description

Do you have a passion for providing excellent customer service, with knowledge of skincare and beauty products? This is a great opportunity to join a local independent pharmacy at the heart of the community in Carterton.

As our retail assistant, you will be expected to create an exceptional customer experience while serving all our customers in a friendly and highly professional manner. You will offer appropriate advice and recommend suitable products based on customers requirements.

Main Responsibilities

To provide all customers with excellent customer service in line with customer service standards
Maintain up to date product knowledge
Ensuring the retail area remains neat and tidy
Merchandising stock, ensuring prices are on display
Responsible for retail area - maintain stock levels, stock rotation, monitor expiry dates, ordering stock etc.

Your Skills & Experience

Experience working within a beauty/skincare retail environment
Ability to provide excellent customer service and enjoy engaging with customers
Ability to use initiative to solve problems and remain calm when under pressure
Positive attitude, willingness to learn
Professionalism - in appearance and communication
A team player, ready to support the wider pharmacy team
