Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Qualified Dental Nurse to join our dental practice. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting dentists/Hygiene Therapist during procedures, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining the smooth operation of the clinic. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about patient care and dental health to develop their career within a friendly and professional environment.

Responsibilities

Assist dentists/Dental hygienist therapist during various dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and sterilised.
Provide high-quality patient care, including explaining procedures, offering reassurance, and ensuring patient comfort throughout treatments.
Maintain accurate patient records and manage appointment schedules efficiently.
Adhere to infection control protocols and ensure the clinic complies with health and safety regulations.
Support with administrative duties such as ordering supplies and managing stock levels.
Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of treatment rooms before and after procedures.
Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals to facilitate seamless service delivery.

Experience and Skills

Previous experience as a Dental Nurse is preferred, though not essential – training will be provided for the right candidate
Experience with implant procedures is desirable but not required; a willingness to learn and support these treatments is essential
Strong patient care skills with a focus on empathy, reassurance, and professionalism
Proficiency in English (spoken and written) for effective communication with patients and colleagues
Good IT literacy to manage patient records and appointment systems
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Organised, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
