Warehouse & Fulfilment Operative
Location: Banbury
Hours: Full Time, Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm
Salary: £27,000 - £30,000 - dependant on experience

We're a growing business with big ambitions, and we're looking for a reliable, hands-on Warehouse & Fulfilment Operative to join our team and help keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes.
This is a varied role that combines order fulfilment, stock management and warehouse organisation. While picking and packing customer orders will be your primary responsibility, you'll also play an important role in maintaining stock accuracy, processing deliveries, and ensuring the warehouse operates efficiently day-to-day.
The Role
You'll be responsible for ensuring customer orders are picked, packed and despatched accurately and on time, while also managing the flow of stock through the warehouse.
You'll take ownership of keeping the warehouse organised, maintaining stock accuracy and ensuring high standards are upheld across all warehouse operations.
We're looking for someone who enjoys being hands-on, takes pride in their work and isn't afraid to roll their sleeves up and get stuck in.
Key Responsibilities
Order Fulfilment
- Accurately pick, pack and despatch customer orders.
- Ensure all orders are shipped on time and to the highest standard.
- Carry out quality checks before despatch to minimise errors.
- Prepare parcels and pallets for collection by couriers.
Goods In & Stock Management
- Receive, check and process incoming deliveries.
- Coordinate the goods-in process, ensuring stock is checked and booked in accurately.
- Put stock away in the correct warehouse locations.
- Maintain organised and efficient storage areas.
- Replenish picking locations to ensure stock is always available for fulfilment.
Stock Takes & Returns
- · Carry out periodic stock takes.
- · Ensure returns are correctly restocked
Warehouse Standards
- Maintain a clean, tidy and safe warehouse environment.
- Ensure all working areas are organised and well presented.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and warehouse processes.
- Support with general operational tasks as required.
Health & Safety
- Follow all company health and safety procedures.
- Use warehouse equipment safely and responsibly.
- Report any hazards or issues promptly.
About You
We're looking for someone who is dependable, organised and takes pride in doing a job properly.
You'll be comfortable managing your workload and maintaining high standards, even during busy periods.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous warehouse experience in a picking and packing environment.
- Experience processing goods-in and customer returns.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organisational skills.
- Comfortable using basic IT systems and software.
- Good communication skills.
- Physically capable of lifting and moving stock in line with manual handling guidelines.
