Full job description

Premier Fabrication Ltd are looking for a Fabricator/Welder based at our Premises in Cheddar, Somerset, to work on their own initiative, be reliable and punctual.

The Impact You'll Make

As a Fabricator / Welder you will transform our drawings into high-quality, finished components. Your skill will ensure our products are strong, reliable, and built to exacting standards, whether it’s a custom frame for a specialist client or a critical part for a major project.

What You'll Do

Interpret and work from drawings and verbal instructions.
Fabricate components from mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium using MIG and TIG welding techniques.
Operate workshop machinery such as press brakes, guillotines, and grinders.
Carry out precise measuring, cutting, and finishing to ensure accuracy and quality.
Work closely with the production team to meet deadlines without compromising safety or standards.
Maintain tools, equipment, and a tidy, safe working environment.

What You'll Bring

Proven experience as a fabricator and welder in a workshop or site-based environment.
Strong MIG welding skills (TIG experience highly desirable).
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings with accuracy.
Competence in using fabrication machinery and hand tools.
A keen eye for detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
A proactive, team-focused attitude and willingness to adapt to varied projects.

Mon - Fri - 40 hour week

Overtime available at times.

Wages negotiable and dependent upon age and experience

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £15.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
