Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and fabrication, with a minimum experience of 2 years Mig welding. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work with hand and power tools to produce high-quality metal products.

Duties

Perform MIG welding and other welding techniques to fabricate metal components.
Utilise hand tools and power tools for cutting, shaping, and assembling metal parts.
Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication.
Conduct fabrication of sheet metal products according to project requirements.
Assemble components as per engineering specifications, ensuring structural integrity and quality.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.

Qualifications

Proven experience in welding, particularly MIG welding, with a strong understanding of various welding processes.
Familiarity with fabrication techniques and sheet metal work is essential.
Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
