Full job description

Job Summary

We are seeking someone to join our team, working four days a week. You will be managing our VAT clients, handling your own workload, and ensuring filing deadlines are met each quarter. There will also be some accounts preparation work involved.

Responsibilities

VAT Returns: Accurate preparation and timely submission of VAT returns for various clients.
Client Advisory: Communicating directly with clients via phone and email.
Accounts Preparation: Assisting with the production of year-end accounts.

What we are looking for

Practice Background: Prior experience working within an accountancy practice is highly preferred.
Software Skills: Knowledge of using QuickBooks, Xero, Sage (desktop and cloud) and Microsoft Excel is essential.
Communication: Confident, professional communication skills to deal with clients directly.
