Activity Coordinator Neu Living

Neu Living provides specialist neuro and mental health care and rehabilitation in Sheffield. We support adults with complex neurological and mental health needs, helping them regain independence, develop skills, and enjoy meaningful, fulfilling lives.

We are seeking a vibrant, confident, and energetic Activity Coordinator to join our team. This rewarding role focuses on planning and delivering engaging activities, events, and community experiences that enhance residents’ wellbeing, quality of life, independence, and social inclusion. Working closely with the multidisciplinary team, you will also support therapeutic and rehabilitation-focused activities that contribute to residents’ individual goals.

The Role

As an Activity Coordinator, you will:

Plan, organise, and deliver a varied programme of activities, events, and experiences that promote enjoyment, wellbeing, and social engagement.
Organise and supervise community trips and outings using our minibus to support residents in accessing local amenities, leisure opportunities, and community activities.
Encourage participation and motivate residents to engage in activities that reflect their interests, preferences, and abilities.
Support the delivery of therapeutic and rehabilitation-focused activities in collaboration with occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and care staff.
Adapt activities to meet the individual needs of residents with neurological, physical, cognitive, or mental health conditions.
Prepare and maintain activity areas and resources to ensure a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment.
Maintain accurate records of activity participation and resident engagement where required.
Contribute ideas for new activities, events, celebrations, and community partnerships that enrich residents’ lives.

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

Energetic, enthusiastic, and passionate about improving the lives of others through meaningful activities and experiences.
Ideally experienced in activities coordination, or a similar role (transferable skills welcome).
Creative and confident in planning and delivering a diverse range of activities.
A strong communicator who can build positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with the wider team.
Kind, patient, and compassionate, with a person-centred approach.
Confident driving a minibus and able to transport residents safely on outings.
Committed to supporting residents to maintain independence, develop confidence, and enjoy life to the fullest.
A team player
Someone who really wants to make a positive impact on clients lives.
Eligible to work in the UK.
Candidates must have a full UK driving license and be will to drive a mini bus.
