Kennedys is currently seeking an experienced Costs Draftsperson to join the team in Sheffield or Manchester. This role involves working with a dynamic team in a supportive and professional environment.
Team
Kennedys is a leading international law firm with a reputation for excellence in handling catastrophic injury cases. Our Serious and Catastrophic Injury team is top-ranked in the major legal directories, has relationships with most of the major insurers, and is renowned for our unique and innovative approach.
We act on complex and high-profile cases, led by experienced Partners recognised as market leaders in this sector. We avoid unnecessary lawyering and are focused on working in partnership with our clients and delivering modern solutions, including our in-house R&D capability and award-winning product suite of technological and process innovations.
This area of the team focuses on defending claims arising from road traffic accidents advising a major insurer on coverage, liability, quantum and rehabilitation. On quantum, we handle a real mix of claims ranging from those involving straightforward fractures to life changing injuries as well as accidents which have tragically resulted in fatalities. The Partner leading the team has a long-standing relationship with the insurer which results quite unusual and sometimes rather unique claims being received. This position offers an opportunity to work on a wide scope of cases arising from road collisions.
