Full job description

Collingwood Health is recruiting an experienced Audio Typist to join our Referrals team in Rotherham. The role is part-time, working a minimum of 13 hours and maximum of 19.5 hours a week between Monday - Thursday. This is a 6 month contract with scope to increase if required.

Training in regards to our in house system will be given and there can be some flexibility around the working hours.

Role

Ensuring the typing of medical reports (from audio tapes, dictation and copy typing) are produced in a timely, proficient and professional manner. Turning around report’s within KPI guidelines to meet customer satisfaction.
Ensuring formatting, grammar and spellings are accurate.
Cross checking information on the report against the referral.
Updating patient management systems where applicable.
Treating sensitive/confidential information with appropriate discretion.
Working from the office independently.

Requirements

Medical/Occupational Health background desirable but not essential
Audio transcription level 1/level 2
Good Standard of Written & Spoken English
Touch typing
High level of accuracy
Excellent attention to detail and quality
Able to work independently
Able to meet deadlines
RSA Typing II/ECDL not essential
Ability to work under pressure
