the position
The position is part time, 20 hours Monday to Friday, ideally 7am-11am
experience
Ideal applicants must have experience within a stores and/or automotive workshop environment, have a clean driving licence and have a good level of fitness. A good knowledge of PCV/LGV vehicles and parts would be an advantage, along with good numeracy and computer skills.
role and duties
- stock checking
- placing orders
- receiving goods, checking for damage etc
- locating stock in the stores
- reorder report/stock replenishment
- issuing parts to vehicles
- returning warranty claims back to suppliers
- part number identification
- diesel stock dips, receiving fuel and lubricant deliveries
- good housekeeping
- will include manual handling
Pay: £12.71 per hour
