Full job description

Role: Salaried GP

Hours: 4 sessions, with the opportunity of additional ad hoc sessions

Pay: £10,000 – 11,500 per session based on experience

Park Street Surgery seek to appoint a kind, caring and motivated GP to join our busy practice from August/September 2026. The surgery, based in the centre of the historic and charming small city of Ripon, is currently undergoing significant refurbishment to provide improved clinical space and staff facilities to accommodate the future growth of the patient list, which is currently at 7,800.

Our ambitious partners offer a supportive and friendly surgery, where personal development opportunities will be nurtured and where we strive to give you a pleasant work life. We highly value our dedicated team of professional support staff who work alongside our doctors, nurses and AHPs to ensure patients receive the best care.

Your work will cover a range of routine and urgent appointments, including duty doctor. Home visits will also form part of your day as needed. You will oversee a list of patients proportionate to the 4 sessions you are employed.

The surgery is highly praised by our patients, ranked in the top 10 in Yorkshire last year because of our staff and their dedication to always go the extra mile. We have an excellent culture and are looking for someone who can quickly become part of the team. Someone who will give all their efforts when here to ensure patients receive the highest standards of care and support.
