Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Staff to join our vibrant team. As a key member of our hospitality environment, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers, ensuring exceptional service throughout their experience. Your role will involve various responsibilities, from greeting customers, taking food to tables, making coffees and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers promptly upon arrival, ensuring a warm welcome.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, providing recommendations when necessary.
- Serve food and beverages in accordance with established standards of service.
- Assist with food preparation and ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including dining tables and service stations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, striving to enhance their experience.
- Participate in catering events as required, providing excellent service to guests.
- Uphold the restaurant's standards for hospitality, ensuring a positive atmosphere for both staff and customers.
Skills
- Previous experience in a Café or hospitality setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of barista practices is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and practices.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly disposition towards helping others.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player who can work collaboratively with colleagues across various departments.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and service quality.
