Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Financial Planning and Analysis to lead our financial forecasting, budgeting, and analysis functions. In this pivotal role, you will drive financial insights that inform executive decision-making, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support the company’s growth initiatives. Your expertise in financial concepts, regulatory standards, and organizational skills will empower our team to achieve operational excellence and maximize profitability. Duties

Lead the development and execution of comprehensive financial planning, including long-term strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
Oversee the preparation of detailed financial reports, including profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow analyses, ensuring compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards).
Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost optimization and revenue enhancement.
Manage corporate accounting functions such as cost accounting, regulatory reporting (including SOX compliance), and technical accounting standards.
Interpret complex financial statements and reports to provide actionable insights for executive leadership on profit margins, pricing strategies, investment opportunities, and risk management.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on strategic initiatives involving pricing models, sales forecasts, investment analysis, and organizational growth plans.
Ensure adherence to internal controls and regulatory requirements while maintaining high standards of accuracy in financial report writing.
Utilize advanced financial software tools to streamline reporting processes and improve data analysis capabilities.
Support audit processes by providing detailed account analysis and documentation for internal and external auditors.

Experience

Proven experience in senior financial roles such as Finance Director or VP of Finance with a focus on FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis).
Extensive knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, SOX compliance, corporate accounting principles, and regulatory reporting standards.
Strong background in financial analysis, forecasting techniques, budgeting methodologies, and profit & loss management.
Demonstrated expertise in technical accounting areas such as cost accounting, corporate finance strategies, and investment evaluation.
Experience working with financial software systems such as ERP platforms or specialized FP&A tools.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
