JOB DESCRIPTION:

To effectively oversee manufacturing activities, ensuring daily production targets are met in line with operational KPI’s.

MAIN DUTIES:

Liaise with the Production Planner to ensure daily production plans are completed in a timely manner.
Ensure daily labour requirements are met through the control of agency labour.
Analyse daily production performance, submit reports for review meeting.
Help to ensure a safe working environment, by carrying out risk assessments / identifying hazards.
Liaise with the HR and H&S Administrator to ensure staff are trained and are competent to carry out their operational duties.

SECONDARY DUTIES:

Monitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching.
Identify potential future production team members from agency workers.
Carry out RTW interviews and participate in disciplinaries as and when required.
Carry out regular briefs, ensuring relevant company information is communicated to departmental staff.
Take an active part in preventing accidents, ensuring all accidents and near miss incidents are reported and investigated in a timely manner.

GENERAL EMPLOYEE ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITES:

Essential Criteria:

Previous Supervisor or Team Leader Experience in a production environment preferred.
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)
