Your Role
As a Senior Transport Planner in Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) you will play a pivotal role in delivering modelling and appraisal for major transport schemes, contributing to the development of detailed network management strategies and working to mitigate the impact of new development proposals. You will also develop and contribute to corporate responses to planning applications affecting the Greater Manchester Key Route Network. Current work includes supporting the delivery of the GM Clean Air Plan and City Region Sustainable Transport Settlement (CRSTS) schemes.

What we can offer you
You will have the chance to grow your knowledge and skills through being provided with on-the-job training using a variety of Transport planning modelling software including Aimsun and Saturn, to develop your Transport Planning skills and experience.
This is a permanent role with a salary of £43,210 - £47,947 per annum depending on skills and experience.
