Role: Storekeeper
Department: Operations
Location: Stockport Depot
Reporting to: SPENWL Operations Manager
Hours of work: 07:00 – 15:30 Monday-Friday
Purpose:
Following resignation of the current storekeeper, there is now a permanent vacancy available for dedicated storeman at the Stockport depot
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
· Responsible for meeting customer satisfaction and be the interface between SPENW staff and TVS
· Specific daily tasks in line with good depot stock management process
· Regulatory stock counts, reporting and management of stock profile within the depot stores
· Following of safe methods of working in line with risk assessments and safe systems of work
· Ensuring that the storage media is issued in line with process controls and that the depot stores are managed in such a way as to maximize security and stock control
· Responsible for maintaining good standards of 5,s and housekeeping at the stores
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
· Must have current clean driving licence
· Hold MHE counterbalance licence as a minimum requirement
· Knowledge of warehousing/stock management systems
· Demonstrate good numeracy and literary skills
· Good attendance
· Broad knowledge of warehouse activities and systems
· Specific system and job training will be part of the successful applicant’s induction program.
