Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Cabinet Maker / Bench Joiner to join our workshop team.
The Role
You will be responsible for manufacturing high-quality bespoke cabinetry and furniture from technical drawings, ensuring every piece meets our exacting standards.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled craftsman who takes pride in their work and enjoys working on a variety of bespoke projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manufacture bespoke cabinets, furniture, and joinery items to a high standard
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately
- Assemble and prepare cabinetry for finishing and installation
- Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently
- Work with a variety of timber and sheet materials
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure projects are completed on time and to specification
- Carry out quality checks throughout the manufacturing process
About YouEssential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Cabinet Maker, Bench Joiner, Furniture Maker, or similar role
- Strong woodworking, joinery, and cabinet-making skills
- Ability to work from technical drawings
- Experience using woodworking machinery and hand tools
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, motivated, and organised
Desirable
- Experience manufacturing bespoke kitchens or fitted furniture
- Knowledge of traditional joinery techniques
- Full UK driving licence
