Meridian Community Primary School & Nursery is seeking an organised, efficient and proactive Finance & Marketing Assistant to join our friendly and dedicated office team. This is a varied role supporting financial administration, marketing, parent communication and general office duties to help the school run smoothly and professionally.
Paid weeks per year: 42 (inclusive of holiday entitlement)
Start date: September 2026
About the Role
As our Finance & Marketing Assistant, you will play a vital part in supporting the School Business Manager with day‑to‑day financial processes and ensuring high‑quality communication with parents and the school community. Your role will include:
Finance Administration
- Marketing & Communications
- IT Asset Management
- Reception & Administration
- Safeguarding & First Aid
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Highly organised with strong administrative skills
- Confident in financial administration and record‑keeping
- Able to accurately maintain IT asset systems
- Skilled at prioritising workloads in a busy environment
- Professional, approachable and an excellent communicator
- Competent with Microsoft Office and financial systems such as Arbor Finance
- Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
Desirable:
- Experience in school finance or marketing
- Knowledge of IT hardware management
- Familiarity with safeguarding and health & safety procedures
