Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and professional Courier Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods and orders efficiently and safely across designated routes. The Courier Driver will play a vital role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction.
Duties
- Collect parcels and orders from the central depot or designated collection points
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to optimise time and fuel usage
- Deliver goods promptly to customers’ premises, ensuring accuracy and completeness of orders
- Handle deliveries with care to prevent damage or spoilage, especially for food items
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries made, including signatures and timestamps
- Communicate effectively with the dispatch team regarding delivery status or any issues encountered
- Uphold food safety standards during handling and transportation of perishable items
- Assist with loading and unloading parcels using appropriate equipment and techniques
- Ensure vehicle cleanliness and perform basic maintenance checks regularly
