We are looking for an experienced Fabricator/Welder for our workshop in Holton Heath, Poole.
Candidates will need to have experience in structural steelwork as well as stairs & balustrading.
The position offered is on a long-term basis with immediate start.
Good rates paid to the right candidate depending on experience and ability.
As a Fabricator/Welder, you will be:
- Interpreting drawings and specifications accurately.
- Selecting, measuring, cutting and preparing appropriate materials.
- Tacking and welding various assemblies.
- Finishing surfaces to a high standard.
- Visually inspecting your own work during and after project completion.
- Regularly cleaning and inspecting welding equipment and tools.
- Occasional site work maybe required. CSCS card an advantage.
Qualifications
- Proficient in MIG & TIG welding techniques.
- Experience in TIG welding would be an advantage.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and fabrication processes.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and basic math skills.
- Experience with sheet metal work and assembly tasks.
- Ability to work effectively in a team as well as on your own.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £15.00-£19.00 per hour
