Well Mind People Ltd is a growing independent psychological therapy practice providing evidence-based therapy to adults, children, young people and families across South Oxfordshire and Berkshire. We are seeking an experienced and compassionate HCPC-registered Clinical Psychologist to join our team in Wallingford.
About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a psychologist who enjoys working independently whilst being part of a supportive multidisciplinary team. You will work with a varied caseload including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, OCD, neurodiversity, emotional regulation difficulties and complex presentations.
We are particularly interested in psychologists who have experience working with:
- Children and young people
- Adolescents
- Adults
- Families where appropriate
Essential Requirements
- HCPC registration as a Clinical Psychologist
- Experience working with children, adolescents and adults
- Ability to deliver evidence-based interventions
- CBT accreditation or working towards accreditation with the BABCP would be highly desirable
- Reliable, responsive and professional
- Caring, warm and approachable manner
- Proven track record of working independently
- Professional indemnity insurance
- Enhanced DBS certificate
Desirable
- Additional training in CBT, EMDR or DBT
- Experience working with complex presentations and neurodiversity
- Registration with, or willingness to register with, insurance providers including:
- AXA Health
- Aviva
- WPA
- Bupa

Commitment
We are looking for someone who can commit to at least one day per week, ideally two days per week, providing face-to-face appointments in Wallingford. Unfortunately, this is not suitable for online-only practitioners.

Pay: £60.00-£70.00 per hour
