What we do
We build LOOP By Semantic, a website platform for visitor attractions, zoos, heritage sites, museums, theme parks and more. 70+ clients across the UK including The Blackpool Tower, Continuum Attractions, Black Country Living Museum and more.
Analytics is core to what we deliver and how we grow. We want to turn the data we hold across 70+ attraction websites into something that helps us service clients better, give them clear/proactive insights, and helps us create insights or benchmarks to use in conferences, presentations and sales processes.
The role
You will own analytics end to end at Semantic. GA4, GTM, consent mode, dashboards, QA, client reporting.
The bigger picture is LOOP Insights: a cross-client benchmarking product that turns our data into something that helps clients improve, helps sales close deals and positions us as the experts in digital performance for visitor attractions.
This is a new function, building on years of website implementations. We are moving from external analytic consultants to building up best-in-class data and insights capabilities in-house.
This role is well suited to candidates with a logical mindset, practical hands-on data-driven analysis and someone that could potentially grow to lead a Data & Insights team.
Key deliverables are:
- LOOP Insights Benchmarking Tool and Dashboard setup
- Demonstrable proof of LOOP website effectiveness and performance growth to present to clients and share in sales / marketing comms
- Proactive and reactive debugging of performance or tracking issues
- Best practice Analytics, Tag Manager, Consent Mode and Server Side Tracking Setup
- Tracking set up to capture key customer details, interactions and conversions across the website, external booking providers, LOOP Commerce and marketing platforms.
- Guidance, insights and best practices shared with the team on a regular basis
- Day to day support of clients and support team with analytics and tracking queries
- Client facing reports to highlight key performance metrics (including traffic, revenue, conversion rates, effectiveness of specific elements/modules, click through rates and more)
---
What you will do
Insight and benchmarking
- Build LOOP Insights: cross-client benchmarks using GA4, Looker Studio and eventually BigQuery, utilising the wider development team as needed.
- Pull sector trends to educate clients and help give the sales team concrete data for pitches, proposals and presentations.
- Produce benchmark reports showing clients how they compare to similar attractions.
- Spot underperforming clients early and flag to account managers with a clear recommendation.
- Feed data into marketing and thought leadership content so we prove our expertise.
- Use AI tools to automate reporting, surface anomalies and speed up insight delivery.
Day to day delivery
- Set up GA4, GTM and Consent Mode v2 across LOOP websites.
- Ad platform tracking across Google Ads, Meta Pixel and Bing.
- Build and maintain Looker Studio dashboards for clients and internal use.
- Coordinate ongoing Analytics reporting according to agreed add-on packages for specific clients.
- Handle analytics queries from clients and the support team.
- Post-launch QA on every new site: tags, consent, conversions.
- Own the consent mode conversation with clients if their numbers change.
- You will work closely with the Head of Operations, account management team and developers.
- Server-side tracking via Stape
- Meta Conversions API (CAPI)
- Affiliate tracking via Commission Junction or similar affiliate marketing services.
Systemising
- Standardise setup according to best practices, using AI-assisted workflows so delivery scales according to our business targets.
- Advise on scope boundaries or changes for LOOP analytics packages, keeping pace with technology changes and best practices as they evolve.
- Build client explainers and knowledge base answers to reduce reactive / repetitive support
