Cleaning Team Leader (Manufacturing Environment)
Location – Mars Petcare, Oak Tree Meadow, Blackworthy Road, Castle Cary, BA7 7PH | Part time

At Sodexo, we’re committed to delivering high standards of service and supporting our teams to succeed. We are currently recruiting for a Cleaning Team Leader to support hygiene and cleaning operations within a manufacturing environment at Mars Petcare.
What you'll do:

Support the day-to-day supervision of the hygiene team across site

Lead by example with a hands-on approach to cleaning in all areas, ensuring standards are consistently met

Promote a strong health & safety culture, supporting a Zero Harm mindset across the team

Assist with training and onboarding of new team members, including buddying support

Monitor cleaning standards and escalate any issues or concerns appropriately

Manage PPE stock levels, ensuring items are ordered, recorded and issued correctly
What you'll bring:

Previous cleaning or supervisory experience in a similar environment is beneficial

Good understanding of health & safety and safe systems of work
-
Strong communication skills and the ability to support and guide a team

Attention to detail and a proactive, hands-on approach

Ability to work both independently and as part of a wider team
