Full job description

Have you ever spoken to someone in a customer service role and been really impressed with the person you’ve spoken to? Do you think you could be that person?

A major, fast-moving Transport and Distribution Service is looking for a passionate Customer Service Advisor to join their busy team.

With a customer base across Dorset, Devon and Somerset, the ethos of the business is to offer a second to none customer experience across every aspect of the business.

Following substantial growth, they are now looking to expand their customer experience team.

About the role: You will be part of a tight knit team on the front line of their customer experience programme, providing first class support to some of the largest names within the South West of England.

You will be the first point of contact communicating with customers by telephone and email.

As well as managing both internal and external relationships, you must be able to make quick decisions, prioritise your workload whilst remaining calm and managing situations to the mutual benefit of all parties.

About you:

Proven background in customer service (desirable)

Call centre background (advantageous, but not essential)

Microsoft Office experience

Astounding people skills

Experience working in a busy environment

Excellent communication skills to rival the best

Good listener with a passion for excellence

Hours of work: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 08:00-16:30/09.00-17:30/10:30-19:00. Although a degree of flexibility is needed to meet the demands of the business.
