We are seeking a friendly and professional Sunday Lunch Host and Cashier to join our team. This role involves welcoming guests, managing reservations, and providing excellent service in a warm and inviting environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong communication skills, and previous experience in restaurant or hotel settings. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage reservations efficiently
- Seat guests and ensure they are comfortable during their visit
- Handle cashier duties, including processing payments and issuing receipts
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the reception area and dining space
- Provide information about menu options and daily specials to guests
- Manage phone enquiries courteously, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette
- Assist in setting up tables and ensuring the dining area is welcoming for all guests
Skills
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hospitality, or hotel environment is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills with an approachable manner
- Excellent guest service skills with a focus on creating a positive experience
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods
- Good organisational skills to manage reservations and seating arrangements
- Knowledge of serving procedures and food safety standards is advantageous
- Professional phone etiquette when handling enquiries or bookings
- Friendly demeanour with a genuine interest in hospitality and guest satisfaction
Pay: £13.50-£14.50 per hour
