**Position Overview:**
We are excited to invite applications for the role of ABA / PBS Tutor (Behaviour Technician) to join our dedicated team supervised by Blossom ABA. The ideal candidate will provide 1:1 support and implement ABA-based interventions for a young individual with developmental disabilities. You will collaborate closely with a knowledgeable ABA team and must have a minimum of 1 year’s experience in delivering ABA home programs and school settings.Your role will encompass teaching the learner in both school and home settings, as well as facilitating community engagement to develop social, leisure, and functional living skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver personalized 1:1 ABA interventions in home, school, and community environments.
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including Board Certified Behaviour Analysts (BCBAs), Occupational Therapists (OT), and Speech and Language Therapists (SALT).
- Conduct data collection and analysis to track the learner's progress and adjust interventions as necessary.
- Build strong rapport with the learner and their family through effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Engage in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
Essential Criteria:
We are seeking candidates who meet the following requirements:
- Certification from the BACB (RBT, BCBA, or BCaBA).
- Currently enrolled in or completed a Master’s degree in Applied Behaviour Analysis.
- Reside in Bristol, South Gloucestershire, Gloucestershire or South Wales.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to connect with learners and their families.
- Strong interpersonal and social skills.
- An undergraduate degree in a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience as an ABA tutor or Behaviour Technician working in home programs.
- 6 months to 1 year of experience working with children with developmental delays in their own home.
- A valid, clear enhanced DBS check.
- A valid UK driving licence and access to a car.
Desirable Criteria:
- A BSc in Child Development, Psychology, or a related area.
- Experience implementing ABA interventions in both home and school settings.
- Experience supporting older learners (10+) in community environments.
