We’re looking for a motivated and organised Project Manager to join our team at our Bristol Barton Hill depot. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in delivering a variety of projects across our maintenance and facilities operations.
You’ll be working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where you’ll take ownership of projects from start to finish, ensuring they’re delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard for our customers.
What you’ll be doing
As a Project Manager, you’ll lead projects through their full lifecycle – from initial planning right through to successful delivery and handover.
You’ll:
Manage a range of projects across heavy maintenance, light maintenance, and facilities
Build strong relationships with internal teams, customers, and suppliers
Create and maintain project plans to keep everything on track
Oversee budgets, forecasting, and project performance
Identify and manage risks, issues, and project changes
Lead project meetings and drive actions through to completion
Produce clear reports and performance updates
Support continuous improvement initiatives and help drive efficiencies
Contribute to operational planning, including capacity and pipeline activity
What we’re looking for
We’re keen to hear from individuals who are proactive, organised, and confident working with a wide range of stakeholders.
You’ll ideally have:
Experience in a Project Coordinator, Project Administrator, or Project Manager role
A background in engineering, manufacturing, rail, or a similar operational environment (desirable)
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Excellent communication skills across all levels of the business
A proactive, problem-solving mindset
Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.)
Experience with project planning tools (e.g. Microsoft Project – desirable)
Qualifications
Project management qualification (APM, PRINCE2, or similar) – essential
Lean / Six Sigma knowledge – desirable
Leadership or management training – a bonus
