Registered Care Manager (Domiciliary Care) – South Gloucestershire and North Somerset

Salary: Up to £44,000 per year (DOE) + Bonus + Company Car or car allowance
Location: Covering parts of South Gloucestershire and North Somerset
Job Type: Full Time – 37 hours per week

McCarthy and Stone are recruiting an experienced Registered Care Manager / Domiciliary Care Manager to lead a team of mobile care staff to deliver high-quality care and lifestyle services across South Gloucestershire and North Somerset.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Care Manager with strong leadership and CQC knowledge to lead a dispersed team delivering person-centred domiciliary care that enables residents to live independently and safely in their own homes.

Quick Requirements

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or equivalent)

Experience as a Registered Care Manager / Domiciliary Care Manager
Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance
Experience managing care teams and service performance
Background in care assessments, care planning, and safeguarding
Full UK driving licence

About the Role

As a Registered Care Manager, you will oversee the delivery of high-quality domiciliary care services across multiple McCarthy and Stone developments.

You will lead a team of Field Care Supervisors and Mobile Care Assistants, ensuring residents receive safe, compassionate, and personalised care.

Key responsibilities include:

Leading and supporting a mobile care team across multiple developments
Delivering person-centred care planning to promote independence and wellbeing
Maintaining full CQC compliance and regulatory standards
Managing care assessments, risk assessments, and care reviews
Overseeing recruitment, training, and staff development
Monitoring care quality, safeguarding, and service standards
Supporting the growth and development of domiciliary care services
Building strong relationships with residents, families, and local communities

About You

You will be a confident Registered Care Manager or experienced Care Manager with strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering high-quality domiciliary care.

You will bring:

Proven care management experience
Strong understanding of CQC regulations and compliance
Experience managing remote or dispersed care teams
Excellent leadership, organisation, and communication skills
A commitment to high-quality, person-centred care
