Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled 360 excavator operator to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating heavy-duty 360-degree excavators to perform a variety of earthmoving tasks essential for project success. Your expertise will help ensure efficient site operations, safety, and precision in handling materials. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale infrastructure projects while honing your mechanical and operational skills.

Responsibilities

Operate 360-degree excavators with precision to perform digging, lifting, trenching, and material handling tasks across diverse construction sites
Conduct pre-operation inspections of equipment to ensure safety and functionality before each shift
Follow project plans and specifications to execute excavation tasks accurately and efficiently
Coordinate with site supervisors and team members to prioritize tasks and maintain smooth workflow
Maintain detailed records of equipment usage, maintenance needs, and operational logs
Adhere strictly to safety protocols, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following site safety guidelines
Assist with basic mechanical troubleshooting and minor repairs to minimize downtime

Requirements

Proven experience operating 360 excavators in a construction or industrial environment
Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy machinery, including routine maintenance procedures
Valid commercial driving license (CDL) or equivalent certification preferred
Ability to interpret technical drawings, site plans, and safety instructions clearly
Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Physical fitness to handle the demands of heavy equipment operation and site mobility
Flexibility to work in varying weather conditions and adapt to changing project needs
