Full job description

CNC Miller Setter Operator

We are seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Setter Operator to join our clients dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in CNC machine operation, with proficiency in Heidenhain and/or Mazak systems. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and contribute to the production of high-quality precision components.

Key Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and maintain CNC milling centers
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and engineering specifications
Select appropriate tools, fixtures, and work-holding devices for each job
Perform first article inspections and maintain quality control throughout the production process
Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal output
Troubleshoot and resolve machine-related issues promptly
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve manufacturing processes
Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organised work environment
Train and mentor junior operators as needed
Maintain accurate records of production activities and machine performance
