Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accountant to join our financial team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization. Your expertise in various accounting software and financial management practices will drive efficiency and transparency across all financial operations. Duties

Prepare, analyze, and maintain financial statements and reports using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, PeopleSoft, or similar platforms.
Manage accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors and suppliers.
Oversee financial accounting activities including ledger management, reconciliations, and month-end closing procedures.
Support financial management initiatives by assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Mentor junior team members by providing guidance on accounting best practices and software utilization.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies through diligent record-keeping and audits.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams within the organization to streamline financial workflows and improve reporting accuracy.

Experience

Proven experience working as an Accountant in a fast-paced environment, preferably within the financial services sector.
Strong proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or PeopleSoft is essential.
Demonstrated expertise in financial management, including accounts payable, receivables, and general ledger activities.
Experience with financial reporting standards and regulatory compliance requirements.
Ability to mentor colleagues and foster a collaborative team environment.
Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in all work performed.
Prior experience supporting or implementing new accounting systems or processes is a plus.
