Overview

We are seeking a talented and personable individual to join our team as a Hair Stylist and Barber. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and have a flair for hairstyling and grooming. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where creativity and communication are highly valued. Applicants should be organised, professional, and eager to develop their skills within the beauty industry.

Duties

Provide professional hair styling and barbering services tailored to each client's preferences.
Offer personalised consultations to understand client needs and recommend suitable styles.
Maintain a clean, hygienic work environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Build strong relationships with clients through excellent communication skills, ensuring repeat business.
Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in hair styling and grooming techniques.
Manage appointment schedules efficiently to maximise client satisfaction and operational flow.

Experience [ but not essential ]

Proven experience in customer service within a salon or barbering environment is preferred.
Formal training or certification in hair styling or barbering is highly desirable.
Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to engage confidently with diverse clients.
Knowledge of current hair trends, styling techniques, and grooming products.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
Organised with excellent time management skills to handle multiple appointments efficiently.
